Hey, look! I'm not dead after all!

It's been raining pretty hard for the past few days, resulting in some minor flooding. My understanding is that it's even been appearing on the news, though it seems to have calmed down a bit now. All I know is, I didn't get to see Miaka yesterday because of it. I'm still a bit steamed about that.

In other news, I graduated from college Saturday. Well... sorta. I still have a couple credits left before I get my degree. Graduation ceremonies aren't any more interesting when you're a part of them, sadly. The only thing I remember about it is a piece of advice that supposedly comes from Col. Sanders of KFC fame: "If you want people to listen to you, wear a white suit." The fact that this is only an aside should be an indication of how much I care about it.

Currently, I'm a little more concerned about finding a new job. The sandwich shop pays the bills, but I think it's time to get a real job with actual room for advancement. I'm tossing resumes around... hopefully I'll get a few nibbles within the next few days.
